I might step up to £100 but that's too much!
It's one of the best in the 650W range, but that never comes cheap

ADATA XPG Core Reactor 650W
Super cheap if you know where to look.
Also a tier A PSU
literally 1/3 of the price for 98% of the performance.

Core reactor 750w was £65 previouslyYou can get great 750w units for at or just over £100.
Yeah I nabbed one even though I didn't need it lolUsed quite literally a stack of these PSU, they are great, other than the daft EPS cable. Not sure how you can do better in the ~£50-60 mark anywhere with a 10-year warranty.
Core reactor 750w was £65p reviously
Core reactor are the equivalent to the Corsair RM series. Also manufactured by CWT...hence the equivalent 10 year warranty.I'm not familiar with them, I was simply drawing a comparison between an incredibly expensive platinum 650w and what's considered a more more normal price point for more powerful yet still high quality PSUs.
Which was my initial point. £170 650w platinum psu, versus a £52 650w gold PSU that provides 98% of the performance at less than 1/3 of the price.
Well they weren't when I posted my last comment 9 days ago. Until someone decided to quote my post 9 days later...Except they are all sold out now and unlikely to get restocked.

My point is that you're comparing the price of a platinum PSU to a gold PSU.
I was reading this site the other day...

To quote “80+ Bronze power supplies are more than enough for the average consumer.”
