I have a Deskstar T7K250 250GB drive at the moment, would it be better to keep that drive as it is and add the 750GB as an extra drive for storage or just copy the contents of the the existing drive to the new one and use the old 250GB for extra storage?
Id put a fresh windows install onto the new hard disk and run all apps and games from it as the 750GB will be faster. I went from a 200 to a 500 and it was noticely faster.
What would be the best way to parition the 750GB drive....have the OS on its own partition with apps and games on seperate partitions? or OS and Apps on one partition and games on another? and what kind of size of partition should I use for the OS?
