just a quick qn what 780 is the best purchase. My freind was going to get the windforce but reading in cooments people having problems with them. What do you pros recomend
 
Probably the EVGA, as they have better support and I prefer the aesthetics :)
I have a feeling the Gigabyte cooler is a bit better. Not certain, though.
 
Me and my brother both went for the msi gaming 780
We didnt even talk to each other about it. I got mine, he asked if would help putting a new cpu cooler in his pc and he had the msi gaming 780 with him :)

I went for it, because i like msi, the twin frozr iv is very quiet and liked the red and black colour scheme
 
The lightning and classi should overclock better and have some pretty extreme features but real world performance differences shouldn't be much.

In your situation I'd take a coin and toss it in the air.

Heads = Phantom
Tails = Windforce
Lands on its side = Lightning :D
