Raikiri, does the HS come with 120mm fan fittings or is it a bit of a bodge job?

Can you fit the fan connector on the GPU PCB and control it with MSI AB?

Personally I wanted a white LED fan so went for the Aerocool Shark and use the included rubber grommets to mount it. Fan is a standard 3 pin, you may be able to get an adapter or wire it up yourself but at 7v it keeps everything cool and is very quiet/silent anyway.

I wish they just put 120mm screw holes on the cooler, would make life so much easier.

do you know if it is safe to cable tie a fan to the stock heatsink using the heatpipes?

I don't see why not, just be careful not to knock any resistors or anything off.

Right, so those rubber screw fittings easily fit through the HS grill, and securely?

Finally got around to installing mine!

Had to remove the middle HDD bay from my Fractal 3000, didn't realise how long this was!

Stock fan etc.

Running at idle 34C.

That's with, all case fans on lowest RPM.

3 x 140mm
3 x 120mm

Will see how it performs under gaming.
