which 7950?

Tommy posted a video a while back comparing noise. I have to say, the HIS sounded the least intrusive, though the Gigabyte is very good to be fair. Above 50 - 60% it does get a bit noisey, though that doesn't bother me. :)

Rumbled!:eek: :D

@Op, play the DCU II first, then play another at the same time, you'll find out what's the quietest easy enough.

Unfortunately, no WF.:(

@weehamish,

Game dependant(but most of them), the WF doesn't really go northwards of 60c@stock.

The demanding titles when a good oc is used, the vrms start to cook, the Ice-Q is the best type of cooling in that scenario, in part due to a long continuous plate covering vrms and vrams, but more importantly, the design of the cooler blows air directly across them all, imho, better for oc'ing.

Thankyou all for your suggestions and experiences, i think the 1 im ordering is going to be the Ice-Q, the sound of wooshing air is fine to me and the fact it rear exhausts is a + as i have the 600t case which doesnt have top cooling

Thanks
Phill

I got an IceQ and it's brilliant very quiet and keeps cool it is a tad big though and if you were thinking about going crossfire at anytime make sure you have enough space inbetween the pci slots.

Cant go wrong with either the IceQ or the WF. As my WF maxes at 64c with 47% fan and vrms max at 73\74c I would not concede that the IceQ is better, just different in how they go about there cooling. For me it boils down to how good your case cooling is, if its poor then best get the IceQ, if its good then the WF. :)
