There is no performance difference between any of the Brands. Just get whichever one you think is prettier :p

Or the one with the best Warranty (which I think is BFG? Someone correct me if I'm wrong). eVGA also do a step-up system which allows you to trade the card in within 90-days for a newer model if you pay the difference.

Warrnaty counts for nothing, your contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer.

You get a year whoever you buy it from, if something doesn't get buggered in the first year thenthen chances are that it won't for a good few years.

Most things stop working in the first year if they are going to stop.

After a few years a graphics card is worthless anyway, in terms of monetry value.
 
So if you can save £10 on your card your better going with one with a 1 year warranty instead of 10 year?

While I agree that most failures occur in the first couple of weeks, how p*ssed off would you be if 1 month after your 1 year warranty expired your card failed.

Taking your point of cards reducing in value a £450 8800 GTX will still be worth £150 - £200 in 13 months time, and therefore to me the £10 difference in original price is worth paying.

It's like insurance, it's annoying to have to pay for it, but when your house burns down your glad you had it.
