Which 8800GTX

.......Like i said before, if you go for a GTX now your getting a great DX10 performance card with the option to add another when things get hot. Crysis will support 2 GTX's so its looking good.
 
Well to answer the guys question (people really do get way too off topic), you can do 2 things.

Sell both X1900XT's you have now and get an 8800GTX (again, the ultra isn't worth the extra cash).

Or sell the X1900XT 256mb card and get another X1900XT 512mb card to crossfire with. Trust me, at that res, with only 256mb of Ram, your gonna be hurting, and your not seeing the full potential of your setup. You can get a X1900XT 512mb cheap off the bay (there are a few on there now, so look quick) so look there, or try the MM here if you can access it. Your looking at £100+ for an X1900XT second hand.

Failing that, I'm sure you can use a X1950Xt 512mb with your setup too, it's just its memory clocks would lower to match your X1900XT CF card.

lol, if you do get another X1900XT/X1950XT, make sure it has 512MB of memory!! :P.

lol thanks, at last a reply on topic for 20 posts. Thought this had turned into yet another GTX bitchfest so left. Will probably shop around for an 8800GTX then as i want to prepare for upcoming DX10 games as I use Vista, cant stay on DX9 forever even though it probably has another year of life in it yet.
