Which 970?

So I will be trading my 780TI in (DSR) and wondering which 970's to get?

Also is anyone using a pair of 970's or 980's with the swift monitor?

options...

The last two will be + £44 but have the 6+8 power config. Will that make much difference?

Where did you buy the 780Ti from mate as DSR rules now changed, the etailors are now allowed to refund less if product has being clearly used and thus making it second hand. The new rules in force state DSR now only gives you the same rights of inspection as you'd have in a retail store. So opening and using the product is not something you could do in a shop.

If it's the B-grade one you from us won't be an issue as it was b-grade, but if new then etailors are no longer obliged to offer a full refund if it means they have to sell as b grade.

It is the B-grade one mate and to be honest I wouldn't have DSR'd a new card like that anyway - I'm not a total git, you now that, it's rare I send anything back to ocuk.

But I will be buying the another swift and 2 970's plus about 200 quids worth of other bits along with it.

If it's an issue sending this card back then I will keep it and sell it on.

That's a fair rule Gibbo, people who DSR because the card isn't as good a clocker as others must be annoying.

For Chris it's fine as it was b grade so him using it has not de-valued it as it was already used.

But customers who have a record of doing as you mention we shall be not refunding full amounts for cards which have clearly being used because of exactly as you say. For customers who are genuine and have not even opened product then full refund is no issue. :)

You know how annoyed I got in tech when people just ruined products and still had a full refund under the old DSR laws, it was a real kick in the teeth.

So the new DSR rules are welcome.

I msg you on FB.

Anybody know if there will be more of a variation of reference cards coming out any time soon for the 970.

Gainward, Galax(y), MSI, Inn3D, Palit and EVGA I know have them with a typical radial blower fan design. However Galax and Gainward are the ones that are the easiest to find right now.
