Which 970?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Turns out I would have to remove the HDD cage in order to fit the HOF in.

Also Ive seen it mentioned by Gibbo himself that removing the green paint on the reference card only invalidates LED warranty but not the whole card itself. Yet when I asked in CS before reading that statement Gibbo said that removing green paint will void whole warranty. So abit of contradiction going on there.

Wonder how many people have already bought the reference card and removed the paint then..

Thinking on this again James, can you tell me why using a 980 PCB is an advantage compared with the 970 HOF?

(I'm trying to find ways to justify buying infinity black over the HOF for the sole reason that it looks like the most gorgeous graphics card ever created)
 
Looks like the op has his mind set on a 970. There's many different 290X/290 cards too so that would be another headache deciding which one :p
 
Im trying decide which to get aswel I was considering the infinite black edition but ive seen the gainward 970s and I like the look of them aswel
 
The cheapest one. I just don't see the reason to spend big, especially now we know they're not quite the card we thought they were.
