Which 970gtx?

After reading up on the 9 series cards, if the 780ti had been delayed much longer, the G1 would have been the card i would have went for.

Just make sure your case can fit it.
 
It does sound great, it will fit I have a corsair 750d case. I've seen a used one for £265 but want witcher freebie.

The Coil whine guarantee sealed it for me. It also has a back plate and is clocked the same speeds as the Gigabyte out of the box.

The card overclocks like a Champ and is very quiet. Read the reviews of this card before you make your mind up ;)

I paid £269.99 for mine when it was on offer so I am very pleased.

You guys don't make it easy to decide which one to buy. Reviews aren't helping your guidance / recommendations pointing to the G1 and Kfa. Might looking at you tube for the noise of the fans tomorrow.

MSI 100 million edition. Got one of these Friday from OCUK. Silent, no coil whine, sturdy backplate, looks stunning, LED light you can alter, Far Cry 4 gaming surface.

Finding it a terrific card so far fans are also perfect & you can adjust in the included MSI app but they are 100% silent so far for me & both also work correctly.

This card is using the newist bios & GPU from Nvidia as its a recent model. I cannot believe how well engineered it is either :eek:
 
Thanks AWPC I hadn't considered the 100 ME, didn't know it had lights can they be turned off completely rather than software. I have a window in my case don't like it flashing too much. The GR1 has the same grrrr

Default is solid bright green.

Surprised no one has recommended the OCUK version. Full metal cooler, awesome build quality, clocks really well, exhausts its heat out of the case.

Also has an LED Nvidia logo, but this is configurable.

And it's on offer this week.
 
Saw that one but I don't like the blower cooler. Considering the price the msi, evga and gigabyte are better priced.
 
Thanks for everyones recommendation - just placed an order for the Gigabyte G1 970 and it comes with 2 games happy is me :)
 
Well I had the MSI and EVGA SSD initially in mind due to the zero db option but the G1 was recommended on here. My case is the 750d so length isn't so issue.

If you can afford the G1 then do it, one of the best:)

Just dont go for inno3d hercules 4X something something ROFL.
