Hey guys,

Looking to get a 120mm single fan AIO cooler when I downsize my case,

Why an AIO you ask? For the simple reason of space, not built in a smaller case before and I believe this will give me a bit more space to jiggle things around than a fan cooler,

At the moment I'm looking at this,

Does anyone have any experience with this? If this is not a good call are there any people can recommend?

Thanks!

I haven't used the X31 but i do have a little experience with building an itx pc and I used an AIO cpu cooler so I'll share my experience.

At first I thought this should work fine in my silverstone SG13;

But I quickly discovered that the radiator although it did fit into the case had an extra wide area on the side where the tubing comes out and it took up the space that I needed to keep clear for my GPU to also fit into the case so the solution was to use this;

As the radiator did not take up as much space in the case everything then was able to fit.

So my advice is to make sure that the radiator does not get in the way of other components in the case.

Having a quick look at the X31 it does seem like its a similar size to the H55 and I think you would have a hard time finding much smaller.

A quick google I found dimensions for the X31 on Amazon stating its width to be 155 vs the H55 width 153 on OverClockers, so if the 2mm matters but they might be rounding on Amazon and it's such a small difference anyway.

Overall it seems like a solid choice.
