Which Antivirus software?

Hi everyone!

So far, I have been using Kaspersky Plus and was satisfied with it, but now I want to switch to another product.
It would be good if the package also included a VPN because I use it occasionally.
What do you think would be a good choice now?
The manufacturers that I find appealing now:

  • F-Secure (probably the most)
  • Eset
  • Norton What do you think might be the best choice now?
Thanks!

Like others have mentioned I just use Windows Defender.

No need to pay for AV software these days if combined with common sense

I have used Windows Defender for several years with no issues, but I dont click random links or go to dodgy web sites.

A relative paid for Norton thinking Windows didn't have any AV but the package they got did include an online backup solution so at least that part was useful for them and I think Norton had some extra phishing protections.

Personally I just use Windows Defender; there are a few online tools like https://www.eset.com/us/home/online-scanner, https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload and various offline tools like Microsoft’s Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (MSRT) that can be useful but they are rarely needed and I wouldn't pick an AV package just because I wanted a VPN.

I use Bitdefender these days, I just don't like Windows Defender, plus I want more control over my antivirus. I used to use Avast for many years, but they've gone to hell in the last two years by spamming paid customers like me who still had a good 90 days left on the subscription with large popups in the middle of the screen, even over a full screen video or game asking me to upgrade yearly. They would do that every few days as well, that company has become malware itself.

I used to use windows defender until it started flagging problems with Icue so now using anything...I might look at bitdefender.

I have used Bitdefender for years having previously used the likes of Kaspersky and Avast. No problems with Bitdfender and it can be bought a little cheaper by googling rather than autorenew.
