Which ATI Drivers Do You Use?

*sigh* there your 2D speeds when you go into a 3D program the clocks go up to 621 and 900, the amount of times ive seen this ATI should put a sticker on the boxes.
 
CCC adds about 20 seconds to boot time before you can use your PC. It also takes far too long to load the CCC control panel.
 
Has anyone got a link to where ATi have stated that they must get the drivers out by the 15th, i can't find nowt on their site about it, i thought it was 1x set a month, so to me that means they have till the 31st December, but my mates adamant they have only got till the 15th next Friday, and what happens if they don't appear by then (15th) does that mean thats it, no drivers for this month so its 7's in Jan, i know the 6.10's came out about the last week of the month, and the 6.11's appeared about a week later so they musn't have had an official release date by for them (6.10's). :confused:

on the ATI tray tools, i couldnt find the 3d core speed setting :confused:

When you OC an X1800/X1900 Series graphics card, you're actually overclocking the 2D speeds. This is why a slight increase in voltages is usually required.
 
I use CCC with the latest drivers (non beta).

I don't see what the fuss is about, CCC is perfectly fine, if it slows your PC down then it's an underlying problem, nothing to do with CCC IMO.

um ok, then i dont understand about overclocking ATI card :confused: im normally used to nvidia.

so how do i like you get my XT to XTX as in your sig.


edit - now with ati tray tool i can see anywhere that the clocks are 621/900 :(
