hi mate, i got some HAMA batteries, they were like £12.50 each and they are 600mah

mah is just milliamps as far as i know.

they last for longer than the supplied canon batteries anyway. i got them to go in my battery grip as it takes two of them which is nice :)

mAh stands for milli Amp hours. basically how much power the battery has, you should be looking for the highest number you can find, that way your battery wil last longer between charging

Does the 350D not use the NB-2LH?

If so the Canon S70 uses the same and i got an official Canon one for spare for £24.99+p&p.

No you can get 4x2100mAh with a charger at ******* for under a tenner I think.

Are you referring to AA batteries though? The OP is asking for advice on which spare battery pack to get for his 350D

1. The OP wants batteries for a 350D which uses a proprietry battery.

2. The shop you mentioned is a competitor, please edit it out. :)

Thanks

To the OP, you need either an original canon battery or a "canon compatible" of the type you need. 3rd party batteries are generally just as good as manufacturer ones. Have a look at the various auctions. :)

If i am correct, it is the same one as my Canon S70, the Canon ones has 720 mah where the compatibles are 650mah.

That looks the right one except it exceeds the Canon's own spec thou, dunno if its a good thing. Most Compatibles i've seen are have lower mah.
