Looking for a decent Blu-ray player that won't break the bank.

I would like to get something that is less than £100.

Won't be using 3D (don't have it on my TV)
No need for wireless (will be connecting via LAN cable)

Any help is appreciated.

Any Samsung, Sony or LG you like will do the job.
I have a Sony-S1100, in a bedroom. It has no 3D or wireless and is pretty good, they cost about £50.

Picked up a Sony BDP-S1100 for £22.50 from the local Tesco Extra earlier this evening (was listed on HotUKDeals.com).

Have only tried out a DVD in it for now and it seems ok. Awaiting my Blu-ray box set of Breaking Bad to come from Amazon after I picked it up for £50 on the daily deal yesterday.

Was about to post the exact same info about the Sony at Tesco. I also got the breaking bad blu ray set. You got to love hotukdeals.

Sony player + BB Boxset for £72.25 :)

The player was cheaper than getting a PC drive as well :)

I bought a Panasonic last year and it went back within a few months... awful in every respect. I then got an LG which was so so with regards to it's smart features but when they replaced Lovefilm with SkyNow, I also took that back. I now have a Sony BDP-S4100 and it is superb!
