Which blue fluid?

Pastel can be made UV active. How ever its a pain to do and not cheap. Pastel UV white is UV Blue under UV light.

When i get more free time to develop ill look into it more but unfortunately i don't have much time available as im run ragged doing every thing else.

i would recommend ec6 uv blue.looks nice and does not cause any reaction problems with nickle.

Neither does X1 or Pastel ;)

Source: Gregor @ EK :)

iirc he said X1, Pastel, EC6, Phobya and some other premix fluids were tested and fine with EN Nickel blocks.

Doesn't look quite as nice as Mayhems IMO

Also, the mayhems dye dropper bottles requires a lot fewer drops to get a really nice deep colour. The EK ones require 100ml where the mayhems needs only about 3 drops for similar effects

Since the Mayhems dye only needs a few drops, does that mean there's no real way it could leave residue in blocks and tubing? Have read some tales of colour separating and needing to be cleaned out?

It can still leave stains, but not too bad, it's relatively easy to clean off blocks, although it did take GRegor some time to clean it all off and he used some metal polish :D

Cool, its just stains at least is it? I mainly want to avoid any of the problems where residue can actually block things. I figure with three drops or whatever that can't cause any problems even it all separated? :)

Never had anything blocked using mayhems dyes

Really? Damn I've been using it as 24/7. Seems to be alright though my blocks aren't that dirty on the inside it's just eventually the pearl starts to slowly drop apart from inside the res.

hat's why it isn't a 24/7 thing :p

AFAIK, Mick said using it for too long/with high restriction will mean it's just concentrated X1, i'm sure he'll comment soon :)

The pearl gets caught in areas of deadwater etc (not blocks I'm led to believe).
