I'm looking to finally replace my aging 2500k system with something new. I think the time is right to do it now.
I'm really struggling with motherboard choice though. I want a good overclocking board but I don't care about tons of PCI slots for SLI etc. I need an M.2 slot but the key thing is I need lots of USB3 ports.
I use an Oculus Rift a lot of the time and I have a 4 sensor setup so need a minimum of 5 x USB3 just for the Rift. I do have a 5 port PCI-E USB card but would like to ditch this if at all possible as it's been pretty finicky with drivers.
My current board is an Asus P8 Z68-V Pro and has been pretty reliable. Happy to keep with Asus but am open to any suggestion really.

So, key requirements:

Good OC board
At least 5 x USB3 + a further 5 x USB of any type
M.2
At least 6 SATA ports

At the back , hero and taichi have 4x 3.1 gen 1 and 2x gen 2

Aorus 7 has 5x 3.1 gen 1 and 2x gen 2
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £740.07 (includes shipping: £11.10)

Best boards, Aorus has best audio and UK support and RMA, believe Taichi can hit fastest ram, hero has best Bios IMO
All should be big OC hitters with col VRM
