Which boards allow utilisation of sandybridge video encoding with dedicated gpu?

Just about to place my order for pc bits, but am wondering whether the z68-ud7 from gigabyte supports the above? If not, it looks as though the Z68xp-ud4 does?

Failing that, can anyone suggest any other motherboards I should be looking at? I'm not keen on asus after a previous p67 board I had and their RMA returns were an absolute joke!

the ASRock Z68-Extreme 4 does, i use it with arcosft video encoder and makes a bit difference.
any motherboard with Intel Quick Sync will be fine.

Like paradisiac said, the ASRock Z68-Extreme 4, any of the Z68 chipset boards should, like the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4.

I was going to get the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 but too many reports of boot loops etc with boards and Gigabyte not fixing it quick enough, so went with the Asrock - their RMA base is Netherlands not sure how good it is.

Maybe the Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4 doesn't have this issue but the Asrock got a lot of praise and lots of people using them if you need any help with anything.

I woudn't touch Asus either, how long did your RMA take -Mike- ?

I gave up waiting for them to swap the board out and in the end I sent it back to the retailer for a refund. I also sold my SB cpu at the same time as I couldn't be bothered to buy another board.

Now I'm thinking - its time for one last upgrade and to be done with it so I figured I'd sell my old bits this time and get all fresh - no way back then

I think any Z68 board with onboard gfx outputs should offer this ? Many current Gigabyte Z68 boards do not have said onboard gfx ports....

I'd go for the asrock but I don't like the fact that you cant even find out how many power phases the board has. That or I'm blind!

It's abit confusing as it states it has a Advanced V8 Power Phase Design - If you look around where the CPU is though their is actually 12 phases for the CPU, so it's V8 + 4 Power Phase Design.

Seems a bit lowly compared to the competition? I don't want one that is limited in overclocking due to poor power supply!
