Filtered tap water is fine. They've done mineral research on it and even tap water contains a lot of the important minerals it should have.
However, there's something about good quality mineral/spring water that is hard to beat. I love going to the source and drinking straight from it. There is a lot higher concentration of minerals in erm, mineral water but but not enough to warrant paying through the nose for it especially not if it's bottled in plastic bottles. It has to be glass bottles - it's better for your health for a start.
I do like Perrier and San Pelegrino though - but they are carbonated waters anyway.
