Just another random thought which made me create a thread.
I've been binging Goodnight Sweetheart this week, but can't help feel they've missed opportunities writing the series.
Although the show is great for what it sets out to do, wouldn't it have been better if Gary and Ron took more extreme advantage of being able to go back in time?

Are there any other show's where you feel the same with?

I liked Goodnight Sweetheart, but Lyndhurst is one of those actors who I find it hard to see in any other role than the obvious one

Only fools and horses? Hard to beat.

Last of the summer wine
Waiting for god
As time goes by (I really like this)
Rising damp
Bless this house
Terry and June

Lots of options!

I'd love to see an updated version of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I love the original series and even the recent movie adaption had it's moments, but I'd give my right arm for a long form modern TV adaption. One book from the Karla trilogy per season, 10 episodes per season. A dream come true.

Nora Batty is actually invites people in and them murders them and buries them in the basement whenever they come to her door after she has brushed the steps.
