My friend wants to build a new computer, I've given him a case so it's just the core parts that we need to worry about. He's not all that great with computers so he's asked me and someone else to both put a computer together on OCUK and he'll buy one. Problem is we can't decide on which one is better which is why I'm here, I want to find out which build is better.
Bare in mind the use of the computer is for Gaming/Editing.

I came up with the first build and argued that the I3 2120 would be better than the Bulldozer 4100 but this is what he had to say about that "The Bulldozer is much better than the I3, but not the new Ivy Bridge chips, It has L3 cache."
As we can't agree on this I thought I'd ask you guys, which build would you go for?
