WHICH CABLE DO I NEED?

Hello, I've just bought this from OverClockers.

Does anybody know if I need some sort of extra cable? People are talking about a DVI or DP cable or something but I cannot work out concisely which one I need or which one is better. Can somebody more intelligent than me please help haha

Display Port cable would be preferable. Check the monitor box when it arrives, one may be included.

DP cables are the 100% best way to connect Dynamic sync monitors bud.

It's the future. DP > Dual link DVI > HDMI/DVI > VGA. Or something like that.

Difficult to tell what will be in the box but a DP cable would be best, I'd get one anyway.

dont think that monitor comes with any cables in the box.
my AOC didnt.

get either DVI-D or Display Port.

I had some issues getting 144Hz working on my monitor but finally found a cable that worked with it.

actually on closer inspection it says

1x DisplayPort

it doesn't say one is in the box so probably not included I guess?

I have the G-sync version of this monitor and it included a DP cable.

that is describing the port of the back of the monitor not cables.

Buy a DisplayPort cable. Just make sure it's one that's certified and not "RBR" (Reduced Bit Rate)
