which cable ?

Hi i am looking to purchase a 5m cable to go from my pc with HDMI 2.0 port
to my monitor DP 1.2
what is the best cable around to get for that as ive looked on ocuk but am not sure what is the best option.

What monitor / resolution is it?
I didn't think HDMI 2.0 ports support DP. You can sometimes do DP out to HDMI but not the other way, unless maybe you can find an active adaptor.

monitor will be acer predator 34" curved gsync panel
although it has not arrived just yet. i just want to make sure i have a cable long enough to reach it.

G-Sync only works over DisplayPort unless you're not intending to use that feature.

Does the monitor even have any non-Displayport inputs? Usually G-Sync monitors only have a single DP input.

Assuming you are pairing with an NVIDIA gfx card for G-Sync, your card should have a DisplayPort input on it.
