I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card soon from a old agp Geforce 6600 (non GT) 128mb to a new pci-e card but not sure which to get.

I only game at 1024x768 as I have a 15" monitor.
I am using a Antec 400W Smartpower ATX 1.3 psu. Will this work with the newer pci-e cards?

I can spend up to £150 but the cheaper the better.

Any ideas on what I should get?
Thanks

For 150 get the X1800 XT best card by a mile for that cash.

I was thinking about the X1800XT but wasn't sure whether it would work with my psu?
Does the card need a pci-e connector from the psu?

Unfortunately not, if you see all the x1800 cards on here, they have a black box at the top corner where the PCI-E connector goes in. I think the x1600 series doesn't need a connector but that would be too low power for what your looking for. I know there are adaptors out there that convert 2 4-pin molex into 1 PCI-E.

id go for the 1800XT best card for the money i got one from Ocuk a Connect3d nowt else out to touch it for the $$ and mine came with molex to pcie power cable so your sorted :D
