which card?

Ok I am looking to get a new gfx card soon. I have used ATI and Nvidia before and had no problem with either brand apart from the obvious driver hiccup here and there.

I have not upgraded for a while and kinda lost touch with the progress each brand was making. I play many games WoW, BFBC2, CoD, Crysis the list goes on.

I currently have a nvidia 260 had it since it was first released I am looking to spend around £200 maybe stretch to £250.

Any suggestions are appreciated and SLI/Xfire are options too ofcourse SLI/Xfire does not need to be right away so a suggestion on a card with the intention of upgrading in the near future is possible too so in that case the budget can be ignored or streteched.

radeon 6950 is probably the best deal at the moment with your price range.

The extra shaders can be unlock and pretty get yourself a 6970.

thanks for the reply is there no real other options though? i mean there are so many cards surely the 6950 isnt the only option?

There's plenty options, all depend on how much you want to spend.

If you can stretch your budget a bit then a nvidia 570/480.

or wait, there's new cards coming out very soon.
