Which case? :S

The lower hard drives in the P182 don't get hot if you have the fan in the lower compartment running. I have 2 in there and they run fine :).

OK, ta - but I read that some PSUs are larger than standard and needed the fan removing to fir in correctly. Is there any easy way to find out which fits OK? Or, even better, do you know of a good, quiet PSU that will allow me to use the lower fan as well?

I use the Corsair 520 (640 is the same size) PSU and it fits fine. I dont have the middle bottom fan in anyway though. Even if it doesn't fit, there is still a fan in front of the HDD's behind the door.

What, at the very bottom chamber? From the reviews, I couldn't see anything about a fan there - just on in the middle of the lower chamber, and one on the HDD rack in the top chamber...

Without trying to sound rude mate, every question you've asked can be naswered by looking at the P182 thread :) You can see where the fans are.

See in the bottom right? You can get a low profile 120mm fan in there and put the hdd cage back in.

Someone on the board has done it before and posted pics, i forget who though.

Soz - I'd been trawling through it, but couldn't see a mention of any fan in there, hence the question!

Cheers for the heads up though. :)

Yep. Well You can get two fans on the front of the case (behind the front panel, bottom will need to be low profile if you want to put the HDD cage back in). You can then put another fan in the centre in front of the PSU as in the photo above. Then of course you have one behind the CPU and one above it.

Also if you got a Kama Bay, you could have one at the top behind the front panel.

You know, further investigation would suggest that i just told you a disgusting lie.

Just took mine apart to measure how big the fan would need to be and it appears you cant get on in that bottom hole. However, i have seen it done on this board. Now im going to have to searcg through and find it!

If it helps, i dont have the HDD cages in at all. Either of them. My HDD (i only use one but this works with 3) is up in the Optical bays.
