picked the pack up in the humble bundle what one is the best to play as a new player to the series?

Just load up Tales of Valor all the time, its got all elements of the game in. Then just start playing through the first campaign (USA). Once you think you've got the hang of it, try a skirmish game against the computers.

I'd start at the beginning if you are going down the single player campaign route but I don't think I've ever played anything other than skirmishes, either on-line or against the AI!

Start from the beginning for singleplayer

I think WH40K DoW + Winter Assault are both better games tho (both included in the humblebundle if u paid over the average)

Great game but not as good as CoH imo - best RTS out there bar none for me!

Start with the single player, its great then move to multi player. you'll get owned quick unless you know all the units. Tales of valor has all the content for all the games.
