I want to upgrade my system come Jan and have been looking at the overclocked bundles. My question is, which bundle would be better for a pure gaming machine. My current machine runs a Q9550 which I have hardly overclocked much, its currently sitting at 3.2Ghz over 2.8Ghz Stock. I have 4GB of Corsair DDR2800 and an Abit (yep they went bust) IP35 Pro. My budget would probably be around the 340-360 range

keep what you got, pull you finger out and crank that speed up.

if you have to spend £30 on a big fat heatsink then do it.

For arguements sake.....say I wanted to buy the best air-based cooler possible for my Q9550...with a budget of say.,..120....would that still be the evo?...im running a freezer 7 pro right now

The titan is good, one thing to take into account is tall ram heatsinks with silly little aluminum fins getting in the way of some of these large chunks of metal!

Fractal Design Define R3 Midi Tower Case - Titanium
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Dual Fan Quiet CPU Cooler
IC Diamond 24-Carat Thermal Compund (4.8g)
ArctiClean Thermal Material Remover and Surface Purifier

Comes to about 170..that sound ok?
