Which compact digital camera out of these two?

Looking at the specs for the below cameras, which would be the better choice? The samsung has 10 megapixels compared to the 9 which the casio has, but unsure about all the other specs which is all jargon to a camera noob like me

.

I will be using the camera for general holiday snaps etc. Both cameras are similary priced, if there is anything else in the same price barrier (~£90), please recommend.

Don't go by just the megapixels. For compacts its generally Canon, Nikon or Sony really. If you want a compact camera, try get whatever Canon IXUS you can afford. You wont be disappointed.

Well the site that the OP linked to for a start lists 3 Canon IXUS cameras on the top 3 list on their reviews.

Bit over £90 but still might get the lesser of the 3 cheaper on another site..not sure.

Panasonic Lumix FS3 isn't terrible and for about £90 is a good buy. I would go for a Nikon or Canon though.

May be so, But I took the syke comment to be a general one. I just can't see how one opinion can be right. At least someone's now also mentioned Lumix!
