Which company would you work for?

Hi guys, I have decided to go with company A, so let's hope the short commute is worth the hassle :p

B couldn't match the package but main reason is the working hours and traveling would have taken it's toll I'm sure.
 
An hour commute every day would be pushing it for me, I wouldn't want to do it long term. Not so bad if you could work from home a couple of days a week.
 
You don't really know what the job is like until after you start, unless the work is significantly better for sure I would go for the closer one.

Actually I would go for the one with most security.
 
Congrats on the job. I think I probably would've gone for A as well. 2 hours travel a day really isn't negligible, and even if in the future you find yourself not enjoying the work as much as you'd hoped, you will have at least armed your CV with further experience and a higher salary as a bargaining chip for any other potential job applications.
