Which components reduce game load times?

whaaaaaaaaaaaaa  mp is so fun, you must give it a try :) but fair enough.

Each to there own and everything, but I hated it online, I found it boring. I'm aware it was had a ton of updates so it might be better now, also hackers lot and lots of hackers.

This made me chuckle :p:D

On serious note OP, in your case an SSD is the only thing I can think of that could speed up anything. But as suggested if it is MP you want speeding up, not much can be done about that I would imagine.

RAID SSD?

Or could try public cloud computing. I expect public cloud setups will be lightning fast at loading anything on corporate infrastructure

I already have a decent spec pc i7 4790k/gtx 1080/16gb and ssd's but certain games GTA v take an age to load. How can these load times be reduced?

I have a Samsung 950 pro m.2 nvme drive I could use if that would reduce load times?

The way GTA loads it very messy with its front load of data so it is just engine limitations. You can check task manager performance tab to see what you PC is doing while it load to see if anything is stressing out.

If you are playing GTA V online there is a ton of p2p stuff going on which is crazy slow.

SSD and to have the games on a none operating system SSD.

I've got a small 128GB SSD for the OS, and a 500GB SSD for games. Which in this day and age, is VERY small and I'm dumping larger none critical games like MMO's and RPG's onto my mechanical 1TB drive.

Ideally, I want another 500GB SSD to raid up with my current one :D
