46.66% owning a PS3
And 73.33% owning a Revolution.

I know you can't take much from a poll of 30 people, but its not what I expected to see.
 
I'll be getting a revolution at launch.
I dare say i'll end up with all 3, though i might not bother with the PS3 and 360 until there's a price drop.
 
Well, it all depends how the consoles develop, but at this stage I'd be tempted for the Revolution and nowt else. Nintendo fanboy:cool:
 
Option 8) I'll wait and see which console(s) get the games I want to play.

I'll buy at least one console, probably two and maybe all three, but only when I feel the purchase is justified by the games available for it.

So far the games released for the Xbox 360 have be uninspired in my opinion, so I haven't bought a 360 yet. If publishers release a couple of AAA titles that I want to play, then I'll go out and buy one. Hopefully there will be some decent games by next Christmas as I'd really like a new console. :)
 
Already got my 360 and don't plan to buy anymore.

The PS3 would have to redifine the whole gaming scene for me to buy one and if its that good i'll sell my 360 and get that instead. In reality I can't see it being a big enough step up for me to do that.

As for the Revolution, well lets just say i've sat on my rose tinted glasses so the whole "download and play 10 year old games" thing doesn't really appeal to me. I bought the GC for its quirky games etc and its probably had less than 10 hours use in total.
 
I can't say I'd buy the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 - I think they'll offer largely the same sort of gaming experience in the long run. Although internet gaming support for the 360 just about shades it for me (I'll be purchasing one just as soon as I complete this year of university :) ) That said, Sony might pull something out of the bag between now and then to convince me otherwise.

Probably will buy the Revolution too. Not just for the retro gaming thing, but the 'promise' of something new and unique in the gameplay front. It may never come to fruition of course, but I'm not sceptical about it. The machine does look really cool as well.
 
Xbox 360 and Revolution

Already have my 360. Have SNES, N64 and Gamecube etc but the thought of being able to play all the n64 games i missed on a new console is mouth watering, and the old ones I already have but cant be arsed to fetch out and play :P

May even eventually get a PS3 but thats a long way off yet so we'll see.
 
I think my biggest suprise here is that only 4 people have gone for the PS3+Revolution combo and 22 have gone for the 360+Revolution combo.
I also wasn't expecting the "all 3" option to be so high !!

Tbh I'd say that's because there's a bit of an X-Box leaning to these forums anyway so I expected it. Just something about the people that frequent here, and I'm certainly not complaining because I'm as bad :o
 
I'll possibly be getting all 3, although I already have a 360 and i'm deffinately getting a Revo so i've gone for 360+Revo.
 
I voted all 3 but thinking about it I may just go 360 and Revolution. It all depends if Sony do something special with the PS3 or not, I doubt I'll buy it just for a few PS3 exclusive games.
 
Where's the option 'impossible to say yet as only one of them has been released'

If I had to guess, I'd guess I'll just be getting a 360 only as I don't like the controllers of the other two.

I'd forgotten all about this poll. (and it gives me another chance to say Revolution and not Wii :p )
