Which controller?

I've got an old wireless Xbox 360 controller I use for pc gaming which is fine, but it's fairly worn, and a little bit temperamental.

I'd be OK buying a new like-for-like replacement but just a quick ndering if there are better options - the xbox one controller for instance?

What do people use /rate?

I'm using an Xbox One controller with the wireless adapter and the play and charge kit. Works great and almost always connects first time. The odd occacison it won't connect unplugging the receiver sorts it out. This only happens once every few months though. Battery lasts for ages as well. I don't know if you're using yours wirelessly and if so the adapter is compatible with the newer controllers.

Another vote for Xbox one controller. Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries are my choice as well to pair with it.

Edit: new ones are Bluetooth enabled so if your device is Bluetooth capable it can connect that way. You can also connect with a micro usb cable.
