Which controller

Had a steering wheel which is over 10years old and I can no long get it to work. Driver issues I think with windows 10.

Have a saitek yoke rudder and throttle setup for flightsim 2020.

I want rid of the lot and to buy a controller.

I ordered an elite 2 but it never turned up. In this few days I've thought perhaps it's not right, few issues as well apparently (drift, button issues, shoulder double input).

My plan was to get a controller for flightsim and odd racing game. I know it's not the same, but it'll save some space and make me much more likely to play.

What can I buy and be happy with?...seems a lot of crap out there...even from microsoft.

Don't need rechargeable if it can take AA as I'll use my eneloops.

If I was buying a controller now, I'd be getting the new PS5 controller, there's already a few games supporting its new features, with surely more to come.

I think I got that one. Well close to it. I guess the one I picked up is for the Xbox and has the share button.

I would also recommend the PS5 controller, it's really comfortable and feels so much more premium than any other controller I've used
