I'm in the market for a nifty convertible, what do you knowledgable folks recommend? Budget is approx £3.7k ish

Could you mark each on these areas pretty please? :D

Usage is daily commuting mostly

Insurance (low med high compared to similar convertibles)

Handling

Comfort & Gadgetry (e.g. im 6ft 2 so enough space?)

Maintenance (high maintenance?)

MPG (estimated avg)

Britain has the highest number of convertables sold in europe, and yet the weather is ****. And Scotland has worse weather than down south. I fail to see the point in owning a convertable.

Also, you're only allowed one line of text under your signature.

So what? If he wants a convertible let him have one. It doesn't affect you, they are nice small cars, hardly inefficient, reasonable engine size and cheap to run. Let him have his fun. It's hardly like buying a Range Rover to drive around Chelsea.

Fair enough.

But, planet killing, and the assosciated costs, aside, it's rather similar to driving around in a Ranger Rover in Chelsea.

I'm just wondering what you'd want a convertable for in aberdeen :D
Edit: Beaten to it

Seriously though, why? I've been to scotland many times and never seen a sunny day.
