Waited all day, it struck 5pm so I thought, forget it, jump in the shower now. Then the door rang! Was hoping I might be able to ring up and get the package still if the drivers still in the area. Anyone know which courier service they use?

Now I am the other way round, could never fault citylink, whereas DPD is a 1 hour round trip to the depot for me.

Why I tend to order less from here these days since the change, as need to factor in the round trip or Saturday Delivery.

It really is all about what your local branch is like.
 
DPD have annoyed me a bit recently, they delivered some bits fine a few weeks ago without problems, then I ordered a processor and new optical drive (which was desperately needed) due for delivery on a Monday. By Thursday they still hadn't delivered and every time I phoned them, they had carded a completely wrong address saying they couldn't find me?! In the end I ended up having to get them to send back to Overclockers so they could refund me and I had to buy from elsewhere. I'm due to place a large order soon from OC and annoyingly I'm gonna have to get it delivered to a friends/family members in case the DPD driver cant find me - bizzare :\
 
Just got my latest order from OcUK today and for the first time ever (I've had about 6/7orders from OcUK), I was left a calling card AND!!!!!!! the nice person of DPD left my parcel next door!!!

This is something DHL/City Link have never done, was almost in shock thwn I read my box was next door waiting for me :D
 
DPD didn't come until 4.59pm - which was really annoying after I had taken the day off work when I really needn't have :(
 
Not a huge fan of DPD, however most couriers come to my work and come DPD twice a day so it does make things convinient for me in getting things :)
 
DPD left my Dell 2209WA in my garden. That was a bit weird, I thought it would need signing for. Not to mention anything could have happened to it with the weather etc.
 
havnt had any probs with dpd yet, not sure where the depot is though, probably pretty local as pretty much everything i order comes early
 
I've had 4 orders from DPD and they've always got to me before 10am with regular next day delivery which I find amazing cause I live near Bournemouth and OcUK are at the other end of the country.:)
