Which courier do OCuK send parcels through?

Once had a non-computing related parcel left in my bin with a card put through the door telling me where it was. Luckily, the bin men weren't coming that day.

DPD left £1200 worth of gear in my wheelie bin :-)

I didn't mind though as:-

1: I got my stuff and didn't have to go to the deopt.
2: If anything had happened to it would have just raised a damaged/not recd webnote with OCUK and I'm sure they would have sorted it.

I wish more delivery companies were like this.

I'd do my nut if they did that with my stuff!
It's not very hygienic and what if it was bin day that day??

It was the cardboard recycling bin so not unhygienic. Besides - I throw the box away after I've unpacked it - not eat my frickin' food off it!

The bin was beside the house, not our the front, so wouldn't have been emptied. If it had by some weird chance been emptied, then I'd have just raised a web note for non recpt of goods. No biggie :-)

Technically it's not your stuff until you either sign for it or have it in your hands - up to that point it's OCUK's stuff.

Can't fault DPD so far either, citylink on the other hand...

I agree they have got the parcels to me very very fast my only fault isthey do it anytuime between 7-810 . 810 is the latist ive had any of my last 4 parcels lols. its not really a problem no i do like it but abit of a schock when you usalylthink they always post after 9 and its usally in the afternoon then get a knock on thedoor at 720 :D.

i used to really like CityLink had no issues with them what so ever, DPD are great as well, my package was a lot more well looked after than citylinks, also whne i look inside some CL vans theyre made of rust mostly :D.

Citylink so me have been absolutely useless and that's as both a receiver and sender (used to have a business account with them) and that from 3 different locations.

Best exciuse I've had for a delivery from them was that they knocked on the door and had no answer. Pausible ? Maybe until you know that the deliver address was my market stall which doesn't have a door

Must admit I much prefer DPD to CityStink, I once watched their driver pull up behind our office, root through a pile of boxes in the back of his van, 'gently' tossing them into another pile in the van until he found mine... kinda put me off them!

Not to mention my driver who delivers at home loves to knock and run!

Well, I rang DPD yesterday and was told no shipment was showing up under my name or to my address. But apparently OCuK has shipped to me. So now I have no idea what's up lol. Might ring OCuK first to get a consignment number, since my order doesn't show up in my account.

DPD never deliver before 4PM for me, maybe my area is last on the rounds or something? still better than Parcel Force or CityLink who leave those "we missed you" notices at the bottom of the building even though you were in all day :( it leads me to think that they just couldn't be bothered walking up a few flights of stairs.

Shamefull really.

I must be one of the odd ones out, have never had an issue with City Link, but so far had a 100% fail rate with DPD.
I dread ordering stuff from people who use DPD!

Had a well known carrier not deliver a graphics card because the driver couldn't find my address because it wasn't in his A-Z. Must have been using a really old one as the estate had been there for nearly 20 years.

Hi all,

On monday 17:20pm, I received an email from OcUK with "Your order has been shipped". It also says that the goods are shipped By: DHL Worldwide Express (EU), and have provided me with a consignment number, and URL to track the package.

It also says that consignments will be trackable at DPD's website from approximately 8pm on the day of despatch - or 8pm the next working day in the case of weekend or bank holiday despatch.

It is now Tuesday 19:41pm, and still the tracking is unavailable on the DPD website. It says that "Your search did not find any matching tracking."

Is this normal? When should I expect tracking to be available?
