Which CPU Thermal Paste

Hi guys

Just purchased the following CPU air cooler:-

Will the thermal CPU paste that comes supplied surfice or should I purchase something better?

If yes, please advise which paste you would recommend?

I have some Artic Silver paste from last build 4 years ago

Will that have gone-off by now?

The paste supplied with the K2 will be ok, you only see a couple of degrees C between mediocre and the best pastes.

Most likely the paste will be more than adequate.

Else, Chill Factor III (my fave), MX-4 (easy to find), Noctua (comes with NH-D14). All good. Get something non conductive if you change the paste (waste of money imo).

Anyone used them liquid metal pads that dissolve to a metal plasma like stuff when they get hot, they supposed to melt into all the crevices and provide good cooling interface?
