Which current card, or wait?

The problem isnt your card, the problem is a badly coded, rip off, console ported game. If you want a new card anyway then thats fine but dont upgrade just for that sorry excuse of a game

This seems to be the case with almost all PC games nowdays :( no one is designing PC games now apart from MMOs, and all the ripped from console games play like crap compared to what they would if they were designed for PC at the start. This is why I dont bother upgrading my PC much anymore, it just doesnt make much difference when playing badly coded/ripped games.

Sadly this is true. The industry itself is trying to drive us all away from Pc gaming. Just returned from a holiday in Florida and I couldn't find a shop in any mall, Game, EB etc selling Pc games, not one. When I asked why they said, 'no money in Pc games'. Very worrying.:(
 
It isnt true at all, this has been discussed in great detail in a thread in the pc games section, there are many PC exclusive titles to choose from, you are just not looking for them as you are easily marketed and only see what you are shown, sorry but thats the case. Most of the PC exclusive games dont have TV adverts etc. Also not all multi platform games are bad. Batman AA, Just Cause 2, Bad Company 2, all excellent games and graphically superior on the PC compared to the console versions

What res you playing on? on 470 SLI surely it'll be fine... unless your cpu is the bottle neck.

I've played the game in 1080 on my single 5870 with 16x AA and it's been smooth through out :o
 
So where do you buy these games if they are no where to be seen in the high street, tho having said that I've noticed one or two etailors doing new releases recently, maybe they will take over from the high street shops.:)
