I am looking for mid range laptop with decent FHD minitor, for mulimedia: watching movies, streaming. I narrowed it down to Legion 530 and Think Pad E580

I found some info about the screens at notbookcheck
E580:
X-Rite i1Pro 2
Maximum: 290 cd/m² Average: 267.1 cd/m² Minimum: 2.9 cd/m²
Brightness Distribution: 81 %
Center on Battery: 292 cd/m²
Contrast: 1526:1 (Black: 0.19 cd/m²)
ΔE Color 4.9 | 0.4-29.43 Ø6.2
ΔE Greyscale 2.92 | 0.64-98 Ø6.4
58% sRGB (Argyll 3D) 37% AdobeRGB 1998 (Argyll 3D)
Gamma: 2.31

Legion Y530 is on sale with new 300 nits panel (I don't know about the colour range it does't say) but contrast ratio is much lower 600:1, will low contrast affect quality of watching movies? Or it doesn't matter, I won't notice any differences. I am not a gamer I need it more for multimedia.

Interesting 1st post, being the cynic that I am is this going to turn out to be an unanswerable question. Seen a few like this over the past months and they don't seem to get anywhere.
Anyway apologies if this is real and if so the E580 would be better IMHO.

E580 is a business laptop it has mediocre screen (regarding colour accuracy) and worse speakers but it does have a great keyboard and good build quality, if you wanted multimedia machine form lenovo the ideapad or yoga range is much better.

Here is link and great website for checking out laptops screen reviews etc
