Hi all,
Just built my new system around 3 weeks ago. Got an OCZ Agility 3 60GB as a boot drive and a 1TB WD Caviar Black for storage.
A week ago, I started getting random BSODs (at first once per day, it got to a stage where it would be after 5 minutes of being turned on. Every time), after some trial and error I figured out it was the Agility 3 that was dying. After 3 weeks...
So I was wondering, would I be better off getting:
1. A couple of mechanical drives in RAID 0 for Win7 and programs
2. A more reliable ~120GB (non-sandforce) SSD (Can anybody recommend me one?) for Win7 and a few programs
3. Another SSD just for Intel SRT. This way there's no data stored on it and when it fails I don't lose anything.
I just want my system to be reliable, I don't want any of this headache again because of technology that decides it doesn't want to work any more.
Cheers,
Joe.
