I'm currently looking for some replacements of my good Samsung F3EG 1TB x2 in RAID-0. They are completely fine, except... I'm short of gigabytes
I'd like to have quick and silent drives, offering me minimum 3 TB of storage at best price tag. Single drive is not an option. I was considering buying two same Samsungs for about 88 pounds (in total) and creating bigger RAID of 3 drives (4th just for a hardcopy, and then for sale) which gives me about 58 pounds total cost... but I realized 2x Toshibas DT 2TB each (118 pounds in total-60 from Samsung sales = 62 pounds) would be better solution = newer drives, with warranty, more space, more reliable..
Have you got any "stars" on some sales maybe ? Or any models worth to look for ?
