Which drive would you use?

I’ve got 2 SSD drives to choose from to resurrect a laptop.

A Samsung 850 EVO and a Crucial BX500 - both 250gb

BUT the laptop is only SATA 2

Does it really matter which one I use?

SATA 2 is ~300mbps max throughput, very far below the abilities of both of those drives. If anything going for something even cheaper like a WD Green SSD might be in order.

Yes,should have said use the cheaper one,it would be a waste putting a better spec drive in there really.
