Quick question as I've decided to squeeze as much add I can out of my CF 7970's, gaming at 1440p60.
Anyone with recent experience of AMD drivers, am I better off with the most recent ones or will these older cards benefit more from an older set of drivers? I presume they don't keep carrying optimisations forwards for the older cards ad infinitum?
For anyone interested I'm thinking of trying out Pascal next year as it sounds like it could be pretty good and I've never owned an Nvidia card.
