Which easy to use compact for ~£100?

Morning chaps - it's my Dad's birthday soon and I'd like to get him a compact camera around £100 as the two I've given him in the past have now started to eat batteries. I know it's not a huge budget and after a quick look there are loads of cameras around this price but I thought I'd ask your opinion :)

Rather than create a new thread on the subject I thought I'd cheekily bump this one instead! After the exact same thing but for my girlfriend. Any suggestions?! :)
