Which Fan CPU cooler has the easiest Installation?

I'm looking for a cpu cooler for a friend and he wants the easiest way possible to install.

i7 3770k - Socket 1155

Was looking at this one and it's cheap too

easy is subjective.

i found the installation of my megahalems easy.

i dont like the look of that mounting tbh. looks like stock cooler type mounting which is terrible

this one at the very least for a 3770k

if he has the cash to buy that cpu get him to fork out some money for a decent heatsink and help him install it. they all come with instructions

Thanks, but he wanted a lower cooler. The one I linked is only 129mm high and the link you gave the install looks very hard for him.

they are not hard to install.

you attach a backplate place threaded rods through back plate and motherboard and attach some nuts to secure.

why doesnt he just use the stock cooler, unless he bought oem?

He didn't want to high. I thought 140 to 150mm tall would be best.

He don't want the low profile look and as cheap as possible

He not overclocking. He only got the CPU because I have it

so let me get this straight,

he doesn't want to overclock
doesn't want to spend much money on a cooler despite spending £260 on a k edition i7
doesn't like low profile cpu coolers
doesn't have much knowledge on building computers

every half decent heatsink has the same mounting, they are pretty much how your h80 mounts via a backplate and screws.

Installing coolers is easy for me , but he's installing it. I'm just helping him out. Looks good to me.

Easiest ones I find to install are Intels own clip on ones.

The best I have used so far is the coolermaster 212 mount, yeah its four screws, some stand offs and a back plate but it just feels solid, even with 2 120mm noctua fans hanging off it.

I bought this cooler you linked me above for my friend and he's happy, but wanted another 92mm PWM fan to go with it so he would have 2 fans. He also wanted LED PWM fans. I don't see any here on OCUK. Does anyone know where I can find 92mm PWM LED fans for this cooler?
