Akasa AK-FN055 Quiet 120mm Pearl White LED Fan.........is this fan any good?

or should i get a noisy Silverstone FM 121

i'm after a white fan, either clear or white housing

now the Enermax has had quite a few bad reviews, so i think i can drop that one

thanks

Get a noctua P12, a scythe s-flex, or an akasa apache and spraypaint it

yea because the Noctua would definitely need repainting.....God those colours are revolting

but wont respraying it effect its balance/ noise...because i would've thought so...added this, they are very expensive

ok, they have to be sprayed with 10 coats very lightly, no runs or sags or this screws up the air flow/ makes them unbalanced etc, this isn't such a problem with normal fans, but it will be with these, whatever the case; spraying these fans on other forums isn't recommended

you could, leave the blades and just spray the housing only...this is perfectly ok.

I can highly recommend the Xigmatek white led fans.

I'm not saying Id spray a fan. There's not a chance I'd put colour over performance. But then, I wouldn't have posted insisting on the fan being white, I'd be asking about static pressure vs noise.

So my recommendation is to stop worrying about the colour. Otherwise, I've heard good things about Xigmatek but never used them myself

now that does look nice.... very nice :D

colour is only important due to the colour scheme, it can be adjusted, i'll now take a really good look at this Xigmatek..thanks
