Which game has the best Graphics?

Another vote for heavily modded Skyrim.

GTA 4 can also look quite good if you heavily mod it aswell.

Metro 2033 looks pretty amazing but a lot of the time it is just like looking at 50 different shades of grey (not the book).

There's an element of subjectivity too e.g. I know Metro Last Light has technically better visual tech going on than say Bioshock Infinite but I'm just so tired of dark games that I actually much prefer Bioshock's graphics overall.

+1 for Skyrim modded to bejaysus.

Only just started Battlefield 4 but on Ultra it looks pretty sweet too.

Deadfall Adventures...Some places look stunning some a little flat but its very nice looking.

Is that any good? Going to wait for a sale...is it a bit like a first person version of the tomb raider games?

I am intrigued by Deadfall, but nothing is getting a look in thanks to X-Com atm...I've even got AC4 sitting there doing nothing whilst I finish that!

Tbh, with regards to The Witcher 2, whilst it really is a very good game, I was never really in to the visuals of the game. It looks good, but something about the art style possibly stopped me from thinking of it as the graphical showcase that many others did

The thing with "best graphics" is that some games just look amazing when they're in motion. Last Light or Tomb Raider may not be as visually detailed as a heavily modded Skyrim (then again, I am comparing a an unmodded game to a heavily modded game), but when you see Tomb Raider in motion, it's staggering. Dust drifting across the tomb, light shining through cracks in the masonry, the animations of Lara seamlessly blending as she reaches out with a hand to touch the wall.... All these things to me make a much more immersive (is that a word?) and stunning scene than walking past yet another nice looking vista in Skyrim, which is empty perhaps for one or two awkwardly animated NPCs walking around repeating the same lines.

Right now by far the best looking PC games out the box are:

Crysis 3
Battlefield3 & 4
Deadfall Adventures
Assassins Creed 4
Lost Planet 2 in DX11 mode especially

Tough one, Witcher 2/Crysis 3/Metro Last Light are all about equal to be honest and best i've seen so far.BF4 on Ultra isn't far off either.

I've yet to see better lighting than a heavily modded stalker game.

Deadfall looks like my sort of title, but I'll wait for that to drop quite a lot in price before buying it.

I have just finished tomb raider and I would say that's right up there.

The best looking games I have played are battlefield 4, trine 2 ( in 3d) and tomb raider.

Other shout outs to serious sam 3 , rage. bioshock games, tf2 and alan wake all look amazing in their own ways.

Skyrim with some mods looks great! Looks a bit pale when you first try it, needs some saturation.

Tomb Raider is epic too, great game and looks fantastic!

Far Cry 3 is also a stunner and a good game to play once i got into it.

Call of Jaurez Gunslinger is a nice game too

Oh I forgot to mention I played crysis 2 with a mod waldo or something that looked awesome

No AAA game nowadays has "Excellent" graphics.

They just have excessive amounts of blur and bloom :(

People may mock Arma 3, but considering it is replicating a "real life" environment in full scale, it is not that bad.

I appreciate "Art Style" much more nowadays so for me, "best graphics" is a very broad term.

The Borderlands series has very good graphics but not what everyone would agree to be "best graphics".

I may be in the minority here but I think arma 3 has some of the best "realistic visuals to date.

Maxed out, with the view distance pushed to 8k or more and there's not much, if anything that can match it.

Other good graphics can be found in tombraider, crysis 3, bf4.
