both great consoles but In your oppinion what game really shows what the GPU's of both 360 and PS3 can do, so far for the 360 I think it has to be Bioshock, for PS3 I think MGS4

PS3 for me would be either GT5 P or Heavenly Sword so far. Downloaded the demo the other day. Looks very nice.

If you want good graphics and performance, Gears of War is pretty much the top dog for 360, and Uncharted for PS3. GT5 might look nice at first glance, but the environments are terribly simple and drab compared to the car models.

As for games currently in production, Killzone 2 on PS3 really looks stunning, as does Little Big Planet.

360-Gears of war, as said though halo 3 is good for showing colourfull places etc, kameo is also good for this.
ps3-uncharted looks pretty nice from what I've seen

I think that gold... thing (if you've completed it you'll know what i mean) in uncharted is just stunning. Perfectly rendered.

Also, while the framerate and the actual game itself kinda suck, Lair is very stunning to look at in places.

Obvious 360 choices would be Gears and Bioshock. Also that zombie game impressed me (i forget the title) just because of the sheer number of zombies on screen at any one time with no noticeable framerate drops.

Dead Rising, although I wouldn't sa that is a great thing to show off graphics.

Yeah, the textures etc were low res, but as i say it was just the enormous number of zombies on screen at any one time that impressed me, showed that the GPU could kick out a hell of a lot of oomph.

Kameo done that too, but without the tearing :)

Uncharted wins hands down as having the best graphics of either console. DMC4, GT5P and Ratchet & Clank Future all look pretty good too.

For the 360 I think Gears is probably the best technically, though it suffers from being overly grey and boring.
