Which gaming laptop?

Hi all,

First off i will appreciate any advice given whether to buy new or used but buying new is what i prefer.

My budget is £1000-1100 can stretch up to £1200

16 gb of ram is a must for me because i will be using whichever laptop i go with solely for gaming.

So yea at the moment i did some research and looked at dell laptops (not going to post links because of competitors i think) and am quite attracted, this is the dell g3 15 gaming laptop series.

I think laptops using ryzen processors with amd graphics card would offer a better price for performance because i know ryzen desktop processors beat intel for bang for buck performance so i think it will be the same for ryzen laptops.

Any input from you guys will be welcome.

But some big unseen bills have turned up so I can't buy one right now

last gen Acer predator laptops may be of interest to you, Helios 300 or 500's still very capable laptops. I'm using an all AMD one myself with Ryzen 2700 in it and a vega 56.
They are pretty much desktops in a bag though so don't expect much from the battery.
